Jay Revis

Jay Revis began his improv training and performance career at The Basement Theatre in Atlanta, GA in 2006 and studied with numerous instructors from around the country. He recently taught and served as Director of Education at Spitfire Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. Prior to that, Jay taught and served as Associate Director of Education at Jackpie Theatre and was a founding member of Banshee Improv in Atlanta. Jay is probably best known as half of the improv duo “Revis and Zeiss”,  who formerly performed weekly at Relapse Theatre in Atlanta and at festivals around the country. 

Jay has a passion for realism and organic improv. He has taught workshops at Blackbox Improv Festival and Spontaneous Combustion Improv Festival in Atlanta, GA, San Diego Improv Festival in San Diego, CA and Out Of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. 

Jay lives in St Pete Beach, Florida with his daughter, Mila, their cats Henry and Cloudy, and Mr. Marshmallow the hamster.
